This topic is very important to me since it is something I live with. We as a community do not have enough information, resources, helpful coping medications, or well informed doctors. Some people have it an have very little symptoms and others have so many life threatening or altering things happen to them. It not only takes a toll on the physical part of the body but mental, emotional and spiritual.

Having other people that have walked through some of the battles, can be a breath of fresh air.

What is Endometriosis ?

"In the simplest terms, endometriosis is tissue similar to the lining of the uterus that is found outside the uterus, on other parts of the body. This rogue tissue creates lesions that become inflamed, can bleed, and break down causing pain, scar tissue, and inflammation. Endometriosis is not only found in the pelvis. It is also often found on places like the bladder, bowels, appendix, diaphragm, and even lungs. Endometriosis should be treated as a whole-body disease." -The Endo Co

If you get a change and want more in depth information, please visit The Endo Co website. Their founder, Jenneh Rishe, has been such an incredible resource in my journey. She has such an amazing spirit and personality. Working as a registered nurse over 11 years, and a lot of different departments under her belt really gave her the knowledge to better advocate not only for herself but the community she has behind her!

Book Recomendations

Food, workouts, products & more

Tropical Fruits

Check out my Pinterest board that has an array of items that you can check out to help you out. It has some foods that are endo friendly. There are recipes on there that are not endo friendly (ie. gluten, soy, dairy) just substitute with your favorite safe option! Just because you are changing things up, it does not mean you have to lose flavor! you will see some products I purchase and some workouts to help you remain active at different intensities. With endo, one day you can do an hour of HIIT and the next you are struggling to do a mile. Read labels and consult your doctor or you nutritionist before starting new working or diet regimens. I am human, and add some things that may not be the best for YOUR body or even mine.. lol.
